Just keep in mind that I made this for my sister-in-law that just had baby #5. So I kinda knew what she needed and what she would use. I think we can all agree that with each baby, the less we actually need. Of course if this was for a first time mom, I would have added a bunch of different goodies…and I definitely would have made some burp cloths instead of giving my hand me down ones. Oh come on now… they were handmade…just slightly used!
So over the next few weeks I will be posting tutorials for all of these along with a few other fun baby related posts, think of it as a mini baby series of sorts. And stop back in the next few days for a giveaway…it’s a good one!

How adorable is this! Sooooo much better than the traditional diaper cake. All your projects are to die for! So lovely
I can honestly say I would be thrilled with that as a gift. You have gone to so much effort! I love the fabric choices.
I love everything!! I was scrolling down, saying to myself, "Ooo, that's my favorite…oh wait, THAT'S my favorite…maybe THAT'S my favorite…" I so want to do this idea for my sister who is having a baby in January! I can't wait for the tutorials!!!
wow you are an angel. I'll read your post and tutorial with pleasure. Thank's a lot
Wow…wow…wow! What fantastic projects!
This is fantastic!! how long did it take you to put this whole thing together? I would love to make for 3 babies due Oct / Nov. What is the breakdown of parts and pieces?
i worked on it off and on for the past month and a half. it is so hard to judge how long in hours…maybe 20 or more. if you want to make that many i would just suggest making the baskets smaller. or you can make larger items. there were a lot of items that would work great in one of these that i just chose not to make because it was her 5th baby.
Oh my goodness! What a very special gift. You are so generous spending all this time to welcome your newest niece/nephew into the family!
Oh my goodness!! That is too stinkin' cute!! Great job!
wow!!! this is amazing!!! I love all the fabrics, colors, and patterns that you used! Great job!
Oh my gosh! That's absolutely awesome. PLEASE? Hurry the tutes so I can make this for our next grandchild #2. 🙂 He will be arriving on Aug 30th if things go as planned. Do you suppose I've got enough time to get this done by then? LOL
That is the best gift ever. My best friend is having her first grandchild and I'll be sewing along to make gifts for her. Wonderful job!
Love the spin on the diaper cake… I always thought diaper cakes were so cute in theory, but rarely well executed. Love that you used the canvas baskets as a base as opposed to diapers. Well done!
OK that is very cool. I love how it's completely useful and looks awesome too! Great job.
