This past weekend we snowshoed out to Paul’s Pond to do a little ice fishing.
As you can see it was snowing, again.
We didn’t catch a thing, but we sure did have fun.
For some reason there was a layer of slush under all that snow and every time I fell I would land right in it. I fell a lot that day …and ended up completely soaked. Good times I tell ya.
But my favorite part of the day was when Grammy fell (sorry mom) but seriously…it was hysterical. Like so hysterical that I was laughing so hard that I couldn’t even help her up (sorry again mom)!

Oh Christina, can I just move right in? I haven’t done any ice fishing since I moved from my hometown in 1990. We lived on the lake so I was constantly outdoors, summer and winter. Now that I live in the city (or worse, the suburbs of the city), I miss our little lake house so much…
Did you dig the hole yourself? That’s a lot of work!

We have a lot of snow here as well so we all might just as well find some way to enjoy it . It has been many years as well since I was ice fishing . It looks like your little ones enjoyed the day – ( even if your Mom didn’t ) .
