I would have to say that this is my favorite use for all those little scraps of fabric that I hoard. I am a sucker for a pretty packaged gift and with Mother’s Day right around the corner why not use some of those scraps to wrap with.
Use long strips of fabric to tie bows around your packages instead of ribbons.
Or you can use a little piece of fabric just to fancy up a paper hang tag. Everything looks cuter with a little piece of fabric right?
Make some drawstring bags for your gift. Then they get two gifts instead of one.
You can even wrap the whole gift in fabric.
Then add a few more layers of fabric and your package is pretty as can be!
But what I love most about using fabric scraps to wrap with, is that even those awkwardly shaped gifts look pretty and neatly wrapped.
And don’t forget those little extra pieces of tulle. They are fun to wrap with as well!
So, am I the only one who loves to wrap with fabric scraps?
