A few years ago Caroline Fairbanks-Critchfield from the bog Sew Can She contacted me and asked me if I was interested in submitting a sewing project for a book she was working on. Of course I was absolutely thrilled and honored to say the least…and quickly responded back to her with a YES! Well a few weeks ago I finally received a copy of the book Crafty Little Things to Sew and I was completely blown away at how it came out! The layout of it, the beautiful pictures and just the quality of it all completely exceeded my expectations. Plus I have to say that I was a little (maybe a lot) geeked out when I saw the project that I contributed on the front cover of the book! Pretty darn exciting!!
Caroline as well as 10 other talented bloggers designed all of the projects that are in the book. In total, Crafty Little Things to Sew has 20 sewing projects that can be made using fabric scraps and/or fat quarters. With each project you get a list of what you will need, how to do it, the skill levels of each project as well as lots of little tips to help you along the way. Plus, the back of the book has all of the templates needed to complete each project.
The project that I designed is the Spacious Spa Caddy on pages 54-59 in the book. I first made one of these cute little caddy’s for my mother in law to hold all of her stationary but as you can see in the book it can be used for so many other things as well! I happen to love how it is styled on the front of the book holding all of the crocheting supplies.
The book is now available on Amazon here or you could be lucky enough to win a copy! Thanks to Caroline I have an extra copy to give away. To enter the giveaway simply leave me a comment below. Make sure you leave an email address or contact info in your comment. The giveaway will be open until Wednesday, October 25th 2017.
Be sure to check out the rest of the bloggers below. They too will be sharing their projects as well as giving away a copy of the book.
