I first shared these pictures over at Project Run and Play as their flashback May series but wanted to share them here as well.
I used The Marina Romper pattern from Cali Faye. It is such a fun and fast sewing project, plus the girls just LOVE them!
You can tell just by looking at them that they are super comfy.
For this romper I sewed a size two sizes smaller then what I normally do because of the cotton fabric that I used. I knew that it would not look good with this type of fabric being bunched up too much.
The only other thing I did differently was on the bottom. I hemmed them with a large hem so that it allows for growth in the length. I think we can all agree this romper will fit for years to come. I just love making clothes that can be worn for a long period of time!
